Dr. Deban Kumar Choudhary, PhD, Agriculture scientist (2007), is a Junior Scientist-cum Assistant Professor (Agronomy) at Regional Research Station, Agwanpur, Saharsa under the then Rajendra Agricultural University, Pusa, Samastipur (Bihar) India, and now within Bihar Agricultural University, Sabour Bhagalpur (Bihar) with more than 20 years of teaching, research, and extension, institutional building, guiding research scholar experience, born on April 10^th, 1974 in village-Bikramsher, PS- Babubarhi, District-Madhubani, Bihar where he got primary education then moved to Madhubani, Patna, Dholi, Pusa, New Delhi for further higher study.

               Dr. Choudhary had made significant contribution in establishing Agromet Field Unit (AMFU) for Koshi (Zone-II) of Bihar under India Meteorology Department of (Department of Earth Science), Govt. of India where recording of weather data and bi-weekly weather forecasting made possible for the first time in Koshi Zone-II since 2008. He was instrumental in establishing and running the Agricultural college, strengthening extension system, rejuvenating govt. agricultural department, sugarcane seed production, steering Rice, Wheat,Maize, Banana and Makhana (Gorgon nut) production in Koshi zone of Bihar.

Dr. Choudhary impart training and spread latest technical knowhow to the farmer, input dealer, extension and plant protection worker in the field of Agriculture. He is keen to train and transform the personnel of the Agriculture so that, the food and nutrition security can be achieved to the larger section of the society.
