Presently a management consultant working in the Production and Manufacturing sector. Besides, I’m providing management consulting services in Sri Lanka and other Few Countries. I Come from general management experience, both in the corporate and not-for-profit, bringing the knowledge of managing organizations and support services. I am passionate about Lean Manufacturing and Operational Systems which have been my forte for the past 20 years. I'm serving in the capacity of a Vice President of operation of a well-reputed organization in the apparel sector. I have immense experience working on local lean manufacturing projects, both at a strategic and implementation level. I was trained in Manufacturing Systems and Productivity Improvements from the “TBM” consulting firm, USA and “Neville Clark” consultancy firm, in Malaysia. I hold a Bachelor of engineering degree from the faculty of Engineering, University of Peradeniya, a Master from the faculty of Engineering, University of Moratuwa, a Master of Finance from the Asia e University, a Master of Marketing from the Asia e University, Master of Strategic Human Resource Management and Currently reading for a Doctor rate and MBA. Other than the above I hold a few certificates for NLP and currently work as an NLP practitioner and trainer. I have done about 25 NLP Programs in different organizations and institutes. And also, I'm acting as a motivation lecture by doing several programs in schools, corporate sectors, nonprofit organizations, societies, etc. I am an Experienced System Manager with a demonstrated history of working in the apparel and fashion industry. Skilled in Trend Analysis, Textile Industry, Fashion Illustration, Textiles, and Knitwear. Besides, currently, I’m working as a senior lecturer at the Apex institute of Management Service in Sri Lanka and as a visiting lecturer at the Sri Lanka Institute of Textile and Apparel (SLITA).
